Episode 114 – Van Lathan On the Lessons of Solitude
TL;DR | In this episode Stacy chatted with Van Lathan, TV Personality and host of the Podcast The Red Pill and Higher Learning about the commitment to take the lessons of 2020 into 2021, how he cultivates self-trust with his voice and his take on the narrative “Black men are the weakest link.”
In this episode Van and I talk about the commitment it takes to reflect on the experiences of 2020 and take the lessons into 2021. He also touches on he cultivates self-trust with his voice as a TV personality by remembering his voice doesn’t matter as much as his audience matters and I asked him his take on the narrative that black men are the weakest link when it comes to society and injustice.…. yeah, you're going to want to hear this! There are so many layers to this conversation and what is exciting to me is together we were able to recognize there is no one way to prepare for this New Year. All we can do, is continue to seek, discover, reflect and not allow what scares us — to be what stops us. ENJOY THE EPISODE and make sure to share this with a friend.
